Sa unang pagdungog ani nga balita nga ginasibya sa radyo, tv, ug sa mga newspaper na ang kalibutan matapos karn December 21, 2012 ang tanan katawhan naga aksyon ug kabalaka. Some countries they were making an spacecraft or a huge ship privately para sa pipila lang ang makasakay ni ini ug sigurado kadto lang mga pamilya sa mga opisyalis, mga bigatin ug adunahan sa mao nga nasud. Religious people trying to coped up things about their rituals, they prayed longer, they made double times and some of them made triple times doing good, even christians doing the same. Ang tanan nibalaka ni ini. But there are christians faithfully who trust in the Lord and wait upon Him.

Kagahapon as I have observed to the surroundings, some people just watching Miss Universe asking each other who is your bet? but most of the people was anxious what will be going to happen for the following day(today) is really true that it is the end of the world.

Today December 21, 2012 is the end of the world as they were predicted of many scientist, astrologist, the Mayan calendar calculated accurately according to them. But today is a wonderful day and glorious day that makes me to worship Him.

All the more our God be praised and exalted and His word be honoured because His word said in Mark13:32 "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." God's word tells us clearly as mentioned "no one knows". That's why let us put our trust to God alone and let us fix our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith so, that no one takes us captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than in Christ. ( Col.2:13)

For me, concerning of what happening now, that today ang katapusan sa kalibutan that people predicted. And I come to realised that as a Christian should be convicted That Today Ang Katapusan sa Kalibutanong panghunahuna ug panginabuhi. Today Let us put an end to be worldly. Today let us put and end to our self-effort, self-righteousness. Today let us put an end to our flesh. Today let us believe that through Jesus Christ we are justified. Through His blood our sins forgiven and through the power of the Holy Spirit like a consuming fire that burned our sinful nature, so that we will have a newness of Life together with Him. It is not not by our works we save but by grace through faith. By believing Jesus Christ our sins paying everyone life. Through Christ we have 100% confidence standing to the throne of grace waiting for His coming.

Hebrews 12:1-3 "1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."

We know that we are now in the last days and LET US RUN WITH PERSEVERANCE and FIX OUR EYES ON JESUS...

Just look at the cross of what Jesus done, He died and through His blood we are forgiven ONCE AND FOR ALL, our past sins, present sins, and our future sins are already forgiven. We already washed by His precious blood.

Not only that! Not only we received His forgiveness, We receive His Life. Jesus died, he buried and in three days Jesus Christ resurrected- our Savior, our King, and the Creator of the heavens and the earth and He gave it to us His Life so that we may walk the newness of Life - His Life, the overflowing-Life of Christ -mercy, blessing, faithfulness, hope, peace, joy and love. This is the reason why we can run with perseverance in this last days. Let us run for the coming of our KING.

The Gift of Misery

We have few days left before Christmas. Traditionally, during this season people excited to give and receive gifts. It's lovely to give someone a gift. It's fun. It's exciting to receive a gift, too, particularly if it's something that you really wanted and you get it by surprise. It thrills you to get a gift like that. It's wonderful to get a gift from God as well. How many of us have had a gift from Him? All of us. Our salvation, God's Son, His Spirit, our family, our brethren, our BS contacts, our friends, if have them -all are gifts from Him.

There is a gift from God, though, that we don't recognize as gift. I have a book titled The Rest of the Gospel by Dan Stone and Greg Smith, this book was given to me from my mentor his name is Ching Alkuino, he is a real man of God. The content of the book has a powerful message of the gospel. One of the chapter of the book wrote by the author a gift that we never recognize as a gift from God. The author call it the gift of misery. I don't know if you see misery as a gift, but it is. Most of us who have been drawn to God, either initially or in deeper way lateron, have been drawn through misery. It was pain, heartache, disappointament, or discouragement that did it.

Personally, I've been through misery that leads me to draw near to Christ. We also went through misery for how many students and faculties in MSU experienced kidnapping and the latest one of the faculty was murdered together with his student assistant. What a miserable situations we have. It's really hard to comprehend. We begin to feel like running away.

But God is in control. God was right in the middle of that. He used that situations to draw all the more to Christ. In Him we assured and secured. He is mighty to save. Even as a body of Christ He allow this things to happen so that we realized that we need to be united and joined together as one in prayer. He restored the relationship among the leaders. He reconciled the broken relationships.

We also see in the Sriptures God's primary way of preparing people for Him was the gift of misery. One of the best example was the life of Joseph. He was tossed into a pit by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, put into prison, unjustly forgotten and left to languish. Eventually he became Prime Minister of Egypt, but that was a hard route. Humanly speaking, he had the right to be bitter.

When his brothers were at his mercy, however, what was his response?
"You meant evil against me, but God meant it for Good? (Gen.50:20). God meant it for good for those who loved him.  He used misery in Joseph's life not only to mature him in his faith, but also to bring salvation to his father's household. He could see the evil of his brothers or he could see the purpose of God.

Thank God for your misery. It prepares you to be a vessel for His use, for His strength - not yours - to flow through. It doesn't seem to make sense. In weakness is your strenght. In your misery is your hope. In your death is your life. In your nothing is His everything. It's amazing how God works. Out of dung heap grows a rose. Out of misery grows a mighty man of God. Thank God for your misery. Thank God for your pain. Don't attribute it to the devil. If you do, paraphrase Joseph: " The devil meant it for evil, but God turns his trick on him and works it for good."

As a football enthusiast and a coach having a compassion for children, help them to cater their needs; to give them a brighter future in the field of football. Helping them not only to discover their potentials and develop their skills, but to know Jesus Christ.

There are 55 players (Boy and Girl) are now joining the training and they already played local tournaments and some of them played outside Butuan City. They are 19 players from 10-under (10-year old below), 12 players from 13-under (13-year old below) and 19-under (19-year old and below).

The good news is some of these players were already know Jesus Christ as there Lord and savior. Hallelujah!

Spiritual G.P.S.

One of the latest gadgets that you can put inside of the car is a Global Positioning System or G.P.S. These incredible inventions allow you to receive exact directions via satellite. It also tells you the correct road speed, warns you of cameras on traffic jams. When you make a mistake, the system is gracious. A polite voice simply says, "At the next opportunity, please turn around". With the inevitable improvements can you imagine the even greater assistance they will be in the future.

God has given us an incredible spiritual G.P.S. (God's Positioning System) to give us instructions "on the move" it doesn't simply sit in the pews. For convenience sake it's not an external system, but an internal one, enabling Him to lead and guide us from within, anywhere and anytime.

This system is not an extra optional feature. It is "factory fitted" and comes when you receive Christ and the baptism with the Holy Spirit.
Mystery solved!

John 14:26
 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Romans 8:14
 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.


The Holy Spirit job's description is to teach us all things and guide us into all truth and tell you things to come.


The great news is that, potentially, all believers can learn to use this spiritual G.P.S. and be led from within.

Be transform from simply being Spirit filled to being Spirit led by having personal relationship and intimate fellowship with the Lord.

Binding the Strongman ( the devil)

Matthew 12:29 “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house."


The strongman goes around like a roaring lion, constantly looking for someone to devour. and the whole world under his wicked control.  

1 Peter 5:12 "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour."

1 John 5:19  "...and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one."

 Jesus Christ gave us the authority over all the power of the enemy and told us that unless you bind the strongman first, you cannot plunder his possessions. He gave us the keys of the kingdom to demolish the gates of hell and build HIS church. 

Luke 9:1-2 "When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick."

Now Jesus Christ has given us legal power over all the power of the enemy. all we have to do is to bind the strongman in the NAME which above all names and plunder his illegal possessions. 

Luke 10:19 "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."

If you still poor and lack everything, then you have not exercised your authority. 

The devil is always seeking who do not know their authority and devours them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Let us bind the strongman in the Family...

When Two Become One

He lives in you, through you, and as you. (Knowing or unknowingly)

The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but now revealed to us and chosen us to make known to his people the glorious riches of this mystery which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Christ in you, Lives in you, through you, and as you. As what Paul said in Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ, I no longer live but Christ lives in. The life I live in the body, live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

You no longer live, but Christ lives in you. 

The old has gone and the new has come, a life united with Christ. If you have been united with Him like this in His death, you certainly united with Him in His resurrection.

You are now dead to sin and alive in Christ. You do not become righteous because the Spirit empowers you to live righteous lives, but because the Spirit united your spirit to Christ by faith in His death and resurrection.

God raised your new man from dead, united with Christ and being one with Him. Whether you know it or not, He now lives in you, through you, and as you, by the blood of Jesus.

Christ himself has made peace through His blood to create in himself one new man, who has made two become one. You and Christ are one.

Through Christ you become one with Him, the Son of God. 

No one can please the Father except to the one He loved, His Son Jesus Christ. 

The good news is that you have now the Son, living in you, united with you, being one with you. 

You are holy and blameless through Christ. That’s why Paul urged us “to offer our body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. And now, as one with His Son, Jesus Christ, so, to you the Father is well pleased. Hallelujah!

You are united with Christ. You are one with Christ. The two become one.
 

The one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit.  

Col 1:26-27; Gal 2:20; Rom 6:5; Eph 2:11-22; 1 Cor 6:1   

Building His House (Isaiah 66:1)

Isaiah 66:1
 "This is what the LORD says: "Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be?"

God is looking for his house, His resting place?

This house is not a building but His people called by His name.

How we build His house?

Good Building Materials
 the building materials in God's house must be of the best quality, this does not mean every person is perfect.
it does mean that every person wants love and obey Jesus.

Loves the Light  ( a true Christian)

1 John 1:7
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." 

 1 Peter 2:5
"you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." 

Loves the Light material were never be destroyed moments of adversity.

Built With Wisdom
We need wise builder

a way of Jesus wants to build  using His living stones(we, His people)
It must be built a certain way together in order, to be good house for Him to live in.

We will talk Jesus' house looks like because if we will not build His way, the house will fall when the storms come.

Psalm 27:1
" Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain."

 
Unless He builds the house our labor in vain.

The house will fall when the storms come.

The Design of the House
Jesus'house is built by His design, NOT ours.

God's people lay down their lives to love and serve each other every single day, as Family.
His Design;
1. Hundreds fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters.
2. Confess our sins one another.
3. Bear one another's burdens
4. One together, as He and Father are one. United.

God's desire is not separate stones just to "attend" but He desire is a family that built together, joined and knit together daily.

This is the house of God. Having a good building materials, built with wisdom and He is the designer.

The storms will come and this house will stand.
We are His house! the one that God looking for.

having a common devotion to Jesus and to each other who joined and knit together daily.

We are His resting place.

ekklesia koinonia

What is ekklesia koinonia? 

ekklesia is the greek word of church w/c means "the called-out ones"... the people who called by HIS name.

koinonia is the greek word of "sharing" and usually we translated to the word "fellowship".

ekklesia + koinonia =  a network of lives, linked together daily by a common devotion to Jesus and to each other. Believing that Jesus Christ is alive.

Ephesians 4:16
"From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."

Hebrews 10:24-25
  "24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Prophesy To These Dry Bones

"Prophesy to these bones...dry bones" Ezekiel 37.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me one time. Speaks about the Body of Christ should have LIFE as what prophet Ezekiel prophesied to the bones.

This particular chapter in the book of Ezekiel about the vision of prophet Ezekiel was the shadow of the book of Ephesians about the Body of Christ.

"I looked and tendons and flesh on them(bone to bone) skin covered them." (Ezekiel 37:8)

In order to connect every bones it would be covered by tendons and flesh.
The body will not be formed as body unless every bones are connected properly.

According to the book of Ephesians 4:16 "From Him the whole body, JOINED AND HELD TOGETHER BY EVERY SUPPORTING LIGAMENT, GROWS AND BUILDS ITSELF UP IN LOVE, as its part does it work."

So, the Body of Christ, His ekklesia joined and held together and by the love of God is the one who stick us together. So, Let the love of God cover us so that the Body of Christ will be formed.

"So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet - a vast army." (Ezekiel 37:10)

"...and the breath entered them; they came to life."

Lets try to look back when God created man, "He gave life through His nostrils the breath of life."

Only in Christ we have life. It's not through the agendas of men; programs, activities, etc. that makes His ekklesia or the Body of Christ alive but through 
His presence by believing and trusting God that He is alive and by obeying His word and by God's grace, He made us and joined us together. 

He draws people together in a dynamic, ever-changing network of love. This is life changing.

"...They came to life and stood up on their feet - a vast army."

This is a parallel meaning of what the book of Ephesians 2:21 says,
"Joined together and RISE to become a HOLY TEMPLE OF THE LORD."

The Holy temple of the Lord or the Body of Christ, His ekklesia is like an army.

Matthew 16:18 says,"On this rock, I will build my Church, AND THE GATES OF HADES WILL NOT OVERCOME IT." 

His ekklesia will rise like an army of the Lord empowered by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit through joining and holding together with love and the gates of hades will not overcome it... His ekklesia becomes victorious by God's grace. 

Hallelujah...

All the glory to God alone.
